The Gang of Rapists: The Bharatiya Janata Party

When we were reading the following shocking article, we noticed that there is a paradigm shift in the ethico-cultural domain of a geo-political area called “India/Bharat” in the South-East Asian Continent.

[IT MUST BE KEPT IN MIND THAT WE DO NOT SUPPORT CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN ANY FORM] 

Beneath the headline of the above report, there is a small summary, which we cannot help ourselves but to quote:

“Welcoming convicted rapists with open arms doesn’t just blur the line that separates decent from foul; it frees the society of any shame or guilt to look within.”

On this platform, we have already addressed this issue earlier:

It is matter of regret that the case of Mr. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, a BJP MP, was not investigated or suspended from the parliament for the evident charges against him. This case has increased our ardent disbelieving in the all four pillars of democracy. ⤡

However, in the ongoing parliamentary election in India, BJP’s thinktank has substituted Mr. Singh by his son as a candidate for the upcoming loksabha election, 2024. Is it a reward or punishment within the ambit of Indian democracy?

The more shocking news is that Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of Indian Ex-prime minister, H. V. Deve Gowda, has allegedly raped 400+ women and taped all the moments of sexual assaults to blackmail the victims.

However, despite being a MP candidate of the JD(S) in the Hassan Loksabha Kendra (Karnataka state in India) in the forthcoming  2024 general election, Prajwal Revanna fled to Germany by using a diplomatic passport. It is also to be noted that the JD(S) is one of the allies of the BJP in the failing NDA ghatbandhan or alliance.

Furthermore, before this sex scandal became a big news, the “Hon’ble” (?) Indian PM had canvassed/campaigned for this very Sexual Predator. Did not our PM know Revanna’s dirty history? That’s unbelievable. Is it intelligence failure or a deliberate attempt to promote and give asylum to a rapist?

Another instance of a rape-convict, Gurmeet Ram-Rahim, a close associate of the BJP, was granted parole thrice by the Indian court of law.

One has not forgotten the Hathras Case:

Let us now switch over to a peculiar news of mass-rape in West Bengal:

Since January, 2024 a small Indian island near the Bangladesh border has been in the spotlight after a political storm broke out over allegations of corruption and sexual assault against a local leader. However, in a sting operation, it is found that the event was allegedly manufactured by the BJP! In the post-truth society, it is very difficult to decide true-false binary.   

Even the present governor of West Bengal, CV Anand Bose, a covert BJP man, is accused for molesting a maid in the Raj Bhavan:

“A contractual woman employee of the Raj Bhavan on May 3, 2024 lodged a written complaint with the Kolkata Police alleging sexual molestation by the Bengal Governor in the Raj Bhavan. When we were searching the number of rapes in India, we have found the following statistics (though, India is famous for its Data Denial, Data opacity, Data Manipulation and Data paucity) from the Wiki⤡:

“Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. According to the 2021 annual report of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), 31,677 rape cases were registered across the country, or an average of 86 cases daily, a rise from 2020 with 28,046 cases, while in 2019, 32,033 cases were registered. Of the total 31,677 rape cases, 28,147 (nearly 89%) of the rapes were committed by persons known to the victim.[4] The share of victims who were minors or below 18 – the legal age of consent – stood at 10%.”

Thus, the term “rape” in contemporary India attains a different, broader connotation or metaphorical significance: rape by the state apparatus, rape by the ruling political party, rape by the judiciary where justice is delayed and thus denied….

This makes us remember the following comment of TMC MP Dipak Adhikary aka Dev:

“In an interview to a Bengali tabloid Dev on being asked, whether he was enjoying the media glare on him, he said that he felt like being raped, you can shout or you can enjoy.”

Psycho-sociologically speaking, this type of “rapist mentality” leads to other type of physical assaults. It can be metaphorically called as “rape” in the broader sense of the term in the context of crony, monopoly, cannibalistic, savage pre-debt-or/predator capitalism.

We have faced another type of rape–Financial Rape by the BJP. For instance, DHFL Scam victims are continuously raped by the ruling party, the RBI and the Judiciary.

We are living in a sick society under the BJP regime! Living in the way of dying…
