This is not too much to ask from you, dearest followers of OBMA.

It’s been over four years of this shared journey. Across multiple platforms, we’ve engaged in conversations about politics, economics, ecology, and a whole spectrum of interconnected issues—primarily in English, but also in Bangla, Hindi, and Gujarati. Often, the workload of managing so many fronts with limited support has left us drained. Yet, we have kept going—crafting posters, videos, reels, collages, podcasts, powerpoints—relentlessly striving to mobilize people’s power.

We have never accepted a single paisa from those who supported us. Not because we weren’t offered help, but because we chose to walk this path without letting the money-signifier dilute our intent. A few loyal ones have stood by us, and we are grateful beyond words.

Yes, we’ve been attacked, targeted. Certain elements—black sheep, planted by the ruling dispensation—have tried to derail our work. But each time, we’ve risen stronger, more focused, more determined to channel, express, and organize our collective dissent. We’ve never wavered in our anti-establishment stance.

But today, we are tired. Truly, deeply tired.

That’s why we’re reaching out—not with demands, but with a simple, humble request. The OBMA organizers need your support now. Below, you’ll find our QR code for online payments—something accessible to many of you. If for some reason that doesn’t work, just drop us a message and we’ll coordinate an alternative.

Donate whatever you feel moved to contribute. We’ve set a ***symbolic minimum of Rs. 1***. That’s it. If you’ve found value in our work over the years—and if you believe in what we do—this is a small way to keep it going. This is just an act of solidarity to that definite end.

We understand that reciprocity doesn’t have to mean money. Our politics is rooted in a rejection of the transactional logic that equalizes unequal entities. But sometimes, solidarity can look like material support—especially when it enables us to plan our next moves with clarity and strength. We might also have to appeal to the international court of justice and/or United Nations Human Rights/OHCHR in the coming days for the purpose of seeking justice for the DHFL “scam” victims, for which we also need crowd-support.
